Abbey and Avery’s story still feels like magic to me. Though all three of us are originally from Louisiana, we had never met until their whirlwind elopement in Las Vegas. I flew in from Hawaii, they came from California. That weekend was full of laughter, late-night adventures, and even a female Elvis sealing their vows. They’ve since become so much more than clients—I’m lucky to truly call them friends. Photographing their “I do’s” was an honor, and reuniting in California for their maternity session felt like picking up right where we left off. From vows in Vegas to a baby on the way, being part of their journey has been the sweetest reminder of how love brings people together in the most unexpected ways.
